Minimum housing

Integral reform of loft in Zaragoza

The challenge was served! When the door was opened, MOLES appeared, an irregular plant with a minimal surface area. At first glance it did not have any attraction, but its central location and large openings were the charms that made Blanca, the owner with exquisite taste, fall in love with it and wanted to completely renovate the house to rent it to a MILLENIAL.

The renovation consisted of dressing the rough perimeter skin to give it a tidy and visually attractive appearance. Efforts were focused on designing integrated furniture that would serve the entire house, taking advantage of every nook and cranny and thus simplifying irregularities.

Client: Millenials
Surface area: 34m2
Status: Completed
Timeline: April- June 2017
Location: Zaragoza, Spain
Type of work: Integral reform and adaptation of accessibility for a community of neighbors.
Construction price: 30.000€.

The maximum expression of integration was achieved by reforming and placing the bathroom on the surface overhang, ideal for such use, and making access to it through a door that was drawn on the same plane as the kitchen furniture. This is how the rough skin of the pre-existence became MOLES modifying itself according to the need of each moment.
