DISCOVER THE LATEST TRENDS AND HOW TO APPLY THEM IN YOUR RENOVATIONS.

In the world of renovations, interior design has a fundamental value for the renovation and creation of spaces that are not only functional, but also aesthetically personalize our space.

In this blog, we will dive into the interior design trends that Casa Decor is giving us this year 2024 and that you can apply in the reform of your home.

On our trip from Zaragoza and Alicante to the majestic Palacio de La Trinidad in Madrid, we have been able to observe how it has marked an exciting exhibition in the world of interior design and design. The Palace is giving us a great game with both its gardens and its interior spaces, so much so that the influence of biophilic design has been reflected in these spaces. The vegetation not only runs along the exterior, but is also integrated into the interior which, together with the use of natural materials such as natural stone and wood, creates elegant and sophisticated spaces.

THE KITCHEN AS A MULTIFUNCTIONAL SPACE

If you are going to make a reform, take note, because nowadays, the kitchen is gaining ground to the living room becoming a multifunctional space and social gathering.

More than just a place to cook, it has been transformed into a hybrid space that promotes interaction and versatility between the different environments of the home. In terms of design, the use of noble materials such as wood is combined with vibrant colors such as green, a prominent trend this year. If you are looking for a minimalist style in your renovation, opt for plain fronts without handles, while for a more elegant and sophisticated approach, framed doors will be the perfect choice.

In this edition, bathrooms take center stage, inviting reflection and relaxation thanks to the use of neutral tones and minimalist designs that include organic elements such as vegetation or materials such as wood or marble that connect us with nature.

The use of ceramics in small format is fashionable and allows us to create spaces with style and personality, generating a game of mosaics in these spaces.

In general, the trend is to create cozy and contemporary environments with materials that reflect harmony in these designs.

THE PRESENCE OF THE ORGANIC

In Cronotopos we are very supportive of the use of the curve either in furniture or in the partitions themselves and it is no less remember that you can implement this design in your reform.

Organic shapes are also part of many of Casa Decor’s interiors this year, whether to create arched openings or to use curved shapes in the furniture, creating a timeless, refined and fluid space that encourages relaxation.

THE COLOR PALETTE OF THIS 2024

This year’s Pantone color is here to stay, the well-known velvety peach tone or ‘Peach Fuzz’ is already part of our interiors, in addition to the color palette where we also see the use of vibrant shades such as bottle green (already mentioned above), taupe or ocean blue. Currently there is a growing harmony in the use of color where light and intense tones coexist, but the latter are gaining ground over the former.
